Malibu Beach Resort Samui sits directly on Chaweng Beach, but the feel inside the resort is much calmer than the location suggests. Century-old trees, tropical gardens and low-rise accommodation create a leafy buffer from the shops, restaurants and nightlife just outside, while Central Samui is only a few minutes away on foot.

Rooms range from garden-view studios and terrace rooms to larger pool-view suites and a 110 sqm one-bedroom chalet. That gives guests a choice between a simple base close to the beach and something with more space for a longer stay. 

The beachfront saltwater pool sits between the gardens and the sand, and Marzano Pizzeria handles the food side of things with breakfast, wood-fired pizza, drinks and beachfront dining throughout the day. Non-resident guests can also book a day pass that includes pool and beach access, Wi-Fi, showers and a pizza with a soft drink. 

What makes Malibu especially useful is the location. Chaweng Beach is right outside, Central Samui is around a three-minute walk away, Samui Airport is roughly ten minutes by car, and the rest of central Chaweng is close enough to explore without constantly relying on transport.
