Mr.Ung's Magical Safari Tours

Mr. Ung's Magical Safari is one of Koh Samui's longest-running tour operators, taking visitors into the island's mountains in authentic ex-army 4WD jeeps. Established in 1995, it's a full-day adventure that mixes off-road driving with many of Samui's best-known natural and cultural sights.

The safari visits landmarks including Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, Wat Khunaram's mummified monk, Na Muang Waterfall, the Secret Buddha Garden and mountain viewpoints that most visitors never reach in a regular car. Lunch is served at Mother Ladda, followed by a traditional coconut cracking demonstration and the famous jeep-to-jeep water fight before heading back to your hotel.

If you'd rather spend the day on the water, Mr. Ung also runs fishing trips and private charters around Koh Tan and Koh Madsum. These trips combine local fishing, snorkelling, a Thai lunch on board and time to relax around the quieter southern islands.
