Passa

Passa brings a more creative approach to dining in Mae Nam, with a menu that moves comfortably between Thai flavours, European cooking, seafood and modern fusion dishes. Rather than tying itself to one cuisine, the kitchen works with quality ingredients, local producers and plenty of international influence, giving the restaurant its own identity beyond the usual resort dining experience.

The menu is built for exploring. Fresh seafood and Thai dishes sit alongside Italian and European favourites, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices also available. Presentation gets plenty of attention, but there is substance behind it too, with spices, sauces and carefully chosen ingredients used to give familiar dishes a distinctly Passa twist.

Drinks are part of the evening rather than an afterthought. There is a full bar with cocktails, wine and beer, and the restaurant regularly adds live music to the mix. Outdoor seating and the relaxed tropical surroundings make it easy to arrive for dinner and find yourself staying considerably longer than planned.

Passa is located in Mae Nam at Khwan Beach Resort, but has developed an identity of its own as a restaurant. It works for anything from breakfast and a leisurely lunch to cocktails, dinner and a night of live music, with enough variety in the kitchen to make repeat visits interesting.
