Samui Resotel Beach Resort sits on a 200-metre stretch of the quieter southern end of Chaweng Beach, close enough to walk into central Chaweng but far enough away to avoid the busiest part of town. The resort has 79 rooms and villas, with a mix of sea-view rooms, pool-access options and private pool villas spread between the low-rise buildings and beachfront.

Accommodation starts with compact Standard Rooms and steps up through 46 sqm Superior Sea View and Deluxe Pool Access Rooms to 53 sqm Pool Access and Garden Pool Villas. The 65 sqm Ocean Pool Villa is the standout, set directly by the beach with its own private pool, veranda and oversized bathtub.

The main outdoor pool is a generous 200 sqm, with a separate sundeck and beach chairs right beside the sand. Guests also have access to a gym, library, tour desk and 24-hour reception, while the resort’s quieter position makes it easy to spend the day by the water without feeling cut off from Chaweng.

Food and drinks are spread across four venues. Capriccio serves Thai and international food by the sea, Lobster Bar handles beachfront drinks and lighter meals, The Roof adds cocktails and wine above the beach, and the Pool Side Bar keeps refreshments close to the main pool.
