World Cup 2026 Results: Wednesday 24 & Thursday 25 June 2026
Another two action-packed days at the FIFA World Cup brought goals, surprises and several teams taking huge steps towards the knockout stages. Brazil, Portugal and Mexico all impressed, while England were held and Croatia edged closer to qualification.
Wednesday 24 June Results

Portugal produced one of the performances of the tournament, dominating from start to finish. Their attacking quality proved far too much for Uzbekistan as they booked their place in the knockout rounds in style.
🴠England 0 - 0 Ghana 🇬ðŸ‡
England couldn't find a breakthrough against a disciplined Ghana side. Despite controlling possession for long periods, the Three Lions were frustrated and had to settle for a point.
🇵🇦 Panama 0 - 1 Croatia ðŸ‡ðŸ‡·
Croatia picked up a vital victory thanks to a hard-fought defensive display. The win leaves them well placed heading into their final group match.
🇨🇴 Colombia 1 - 0 DR Congo 🇨🇩
Colombia secured all three points with another organised performance. DR Congo battled well but couldn't find the equaliser.
Thursday 25 June Results
🇨🇠Switzerland 2 - 1 Canada 🇨🇦
Switzerland continued their impressive tournament with another important win, overcoming a determined Canadian side in a closely contested encounter.
🇧🇦 Bosnia & Herzegovina 3 - 1 Qatar 🇶🇦
Bosnia & Herzegovina finished their campaign on a high, producing an excellent attacking display to comfortably defeat Qatar.
🇧🇷 Brazil 3 - 0 Scotland ðŸ´
Brazil looked every bit like title contenders, controlling the match from the opening whistle and securing another convincing victory without conceding.
🇲🇦 Morocco 4 - 2 Haiti ðŸ‡ðŸ‡¹
Morocco continued their excellent form in an entertaining six-goal thriller. Haiti fought bravely but couldn't keep pace with Morocco's clinical finishing.
🇲🇽 Mexico 3 - 0 Czech Republic 🇨🇿
Mexico produced arguably their strongest display of the group stage, dominating possession and creating chances throughout to earn a deserved three-goal victory.
🇿🇦 South Africa 1 - 0 South Korea 🇰🇷
South Africa claimed a valuable win thanks to a disciplined defensive performance and a decisive second-half goal that proved enough for all three points.

Wednesday's predictions proved to be another strong outing, with three correct winners from four matches. England's goalless draw against Ghana denied what could have been another perfect scorecard.
Thursday's fixtures weren't included in our prediction post, but Brazil, Mexico and Switzerland all continued to strengthen their credentials ahead of the knockout stage, while Morocco entertained once again in one of the highest-scoring matches of the tournament.
With the group stage rapidly drawing to a close, every point now carries extra weight as teams battle for qualification into the Round of 32.
