Every year, one of Koh Samui's most anticipated motorcycle festivals roars back onto the island, bringing together riders, live music, custom bikes and an incredible festival atmosphere. The 14th Alternative Koh Samui once again promises a weekend packed with entertainment, welcoming visitors from across Thailand and beyond.
Organised by the Alternative Rhythm Riders, the event has grown into far more than just a gathering for motorcycle enthusiasts. Whether you ride or not, it's a fantastic opportunity to experience one of the island's most unique annual festivals.
More Than Just Motorcycles
Although custom motorcycles take centre stage, there's plenty for everyone to enjoy throughout the weekend. Visitors can admire beautifully restored classics, heavily customised cruisers, Harley-Davidsons, café racers and one-off builds from passionate owners and motorcycle clubs.
Live bands and entertainment keep the atmosphere going throughout the event, while food vendors, drinks, merchandise stalls and social areas make it easy to spend several hours soaking up the festival vibe.
The impressive pirate-themed entrance alone has become something of a landmark, welcoming visitors beneath towering skulls, ravens and fortress-style gates that perfectly set the tone for the event.
